“Guerrilla” Drawing performance using both hands made during Manifesta 14/ art biennial, Pristina, Kosovo, 23. 07. 2022 artist: Kalina Terzieva kaval player and post production: Dobromir Doskacharov place: Zahir Pajaziti square “In the heart of the city center, during the opening days of Manifesta 14, in the natural habitat of city dogs, I am drawing live, large scale drawing, engaging both hands, in the context of contemporary art. I am expressing my will to do art, to contribute to the contemporary visual and performing scene with my newest and most exciting thing. I call it “guerrilla” because it was closer to the street art than to something else. Not being part of the official program, but doing it on my own. Drawing using the two hands is something I discover last years and since than I can not imagine stop doing it. It is natural, it's more real and it does not serve the image itself but it is engaged with the movement and things much closer to real life. To let go the “image” is such a relief. The future of this method is to work and explore more the body mechanics and it's possibilities. Bold, raw lines are welcome in a new kind of abstract drawing style of mine.
